I would like to thank you for visiting my web site.

I started making Rag Dolls back in August, 1997 when my husband bought me a sewing machine to fix his trousers. A few days later I was watching my grandson drawing in a monster coloring book, and I wondered if I could make him any monster dolls. So I unpacked my new sewing machine, and went to work, (Click Here to view). I don't think I ever did fix those trousers.

During a visit, a friend saw my monster dolls and asked me if I could make her a Scarecrow to sit on her front porch. So I dug around the house, found an old pair of Bluejeans, and a Flannel Shirt. Then with some imagination, I made my first Scarecrow. It wasn't long after that, other friends started calling and asking me to make them a Scarecrow as well. As the Holidays neared, I started making Rag Dolls as Christmas Presents. I have since expanded to make dolls that represent friends and their hobbies.

My current collection includes Scarecrows, Hobo Dolls, Bear Dolls, Special Request Dolls, Folk Art Angels, Old Time Santa Dolls, Chickens, Bunnies, Snowmen and Various Theme Wreaths.
